CANAM - WE CAN ALL RIDE
“Working with Jordan was a absolute pleasure, super professional, positive mindset, we had a long list of deliverables and very little time to shoot most of them, we were working around the video crew and had to be super efficient with our time and set ups and often even we had to push and sorta put our foot down so that the crew and directors would make time/ space for us on set. we shot everything with natural light as we had no time to set anything up, when doing action riding shots we usually had no more than 1 or two passes before we got booted out of the way. despite all that the pictures came out really amazing. just goes to show jordan can get it done on the first try when he has too. also was a lot of fun watching jordan hang out the back of a transport van to take pictures while flying down a country road. my favorite shots are definitely of the Caramel curves, the female bike crew from New Orleans.”

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Shooting the CanAm project was a fun job. We shot in the LA area, with multiple locations per day. Typically this would be a straight forward shoot, but we were shooting next to motion, which takes a different logistical approach. The main thing being time. When shooting next to motion on this project, I had to be ready with shot lists, angles, and gear, at a drop of a hat. Anton, the creative director had a clear vision for what he was after. We usually had the end of motions set for a hot minute before needing to pack up camp and move to the next location. So when our time was up, I was able to execute…in record times I might add. We captured many different looks for the CanAm client. We captured hero beauty shots, lifestyle shots, and even riding shots. Although time constraints were tight, we definitely walked away with many amazing images. Some people get nervous shooting in tandem with big motion crews. I enjoy the challenge!
